Our Roles
1. Our Role as a Facilitator

Namma Service acts as an intermediary platform connecting customers with vetted, independent, or partnered service professionals ("Service Providers"). We facilitate the connection but are not the direct employer of all service professionals. We ensure that all professionals undergo identity and skill verification, though the ultimate quality of service is maintained through our quality assurance protocols.

Sevice Booking
2. Service Bookings & Scheduling

Confirmation: A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of a digital confirmation via SMS or email.

Timeliness: We strive to ensure professionals arrive at the scheduled time. However, due to traffic or prior service delays, we allow a grace period of up to 30 minutes. We will notify you immediately if any significant delay is anticipated.

Service Scope: Technicians are authorized to perform only the tasks agreed upon during the booking. Any additional work requested on-site will be treated as a separate request and may require a new booking or an updated quote.

Pricing and Payments
3. Pricing, Payments & Billing

Transparent Pricing: We aim for transparent pricing. Estimated costs for common services are available on our website.

Inspection Fee: An inspection fee is mandatory if the professional performs an assessment but no repair is carried out due to customer preference, lack of spare parts, or the issue being non-repairable.

Taxes & Hidden Costs: All quoted prices include standard service labor. Any spare parts, components, or additional materials required are charged at actuals and will be presented to you for approval before installation.

Invoicing: Official invoices will be generated digitally upon successful completion of the service and payment.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy

Free Cancellation: You may cancel or reschedule a booking free of charge up to 4 hours before the scheduled time.

Convenience Fee: Cancellations made within 4 hours of the appointment time will attract a cancellation fee to compensate the professional for their travel time.

Refunds: If a service was pre-paid and not fulfilled due to our error, a full refund will be initiated to your original payment method within 5โ€“7 business days.

Service Warranty
5. Service Warranty & Liability

Labor Warranty: We provide a 15-day limited warranty on the labor performed. If the same issue recurs within this period, we will provide a follow-up visit free of charge.

Exclusions: This warranty does not cover:

  • Problems arising from improper use or negligence by the user.
  • Issues caused by substandard spare parts purchased independently by the user.
  • Consequential damages to property resulting from pre-existing conditions.

Limitation: Namma Serviceโ€™s liability is strictly limited to the cost of the service provided. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from the use of our services.

User Responsibilty
6. User Responsibilities & Conduct

Safe Working Environment: Customers must provide a safe environment for professionals. This includes ensuring proper lighting, securing pets, and keeping the workspace clear of hazardous obstructions.

Verification: For your safety, you are encouraged to verify the professionalโ€™s digital ID card (generated via our app/platform) before allowing them into your home.

Prohibited Conduct: Any form of harassment, verbal abuse, or inappropriate behavior toward our service professionals will not be tolerated and will lead to an immediate ban from our platform and potential legal action.

Data Privacy and Security
7. Intellectual Property & Data Privacy

Ownership: All content on this website, including logos, graphics, and text, is the property of Namma Service.

Data Usage: Your personal information is used exclusively to facilitate your bookings and improve user experience. We do not sell your data to third parties. Our full Privacy Policy can be found in the dedicated section of our website.

Governering Law
8. Disputes & Governing Law

Any disputes relating to these Terms or the services provided will be handled through an amicable resolution process. If a resolution cannot be reached, the dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
